Formed between Italy and Norway in 2013, the ominous DARVAZA quickly established themselves as a commanding presence within contemporary black metal, defined by a sound that balances aggression, atmosphere and disciplined songcraft. Drawing from the traditions of orthodox black metal while embracing a modern sense of tension and clarity, the band developed a style marked by sharp riffing, dynamic structures and a strong ceremonial undertone. Their debut "Ascending Into Perdition" positioned them as a serious and focused force, combining intensity with a carefully constructed sense of darkness and progression.
