Formed in Porto in 1990, GENOCIDE hold a crucial place in the history of the portuguese extreme metal scene. At a time when the lusitanian underground was still taking shape, the band stood out through their aggressive fusion of death metal and grindcore, defined by a raw, direct sound with no aesthetic or ideological compromises.
